Christmas Songs: Where they came from week 4

I haven't got to this last  one because I've been busy.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

It was written by John Fredrick Coots and Haven Gillespie.  It was sung on a radio show in 1934 and by the next day over 400,000 copies were sold.

It has been sung by over 100 artists and is still being played today during Christmas time.  ^_^

Lyrics:
You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's making a list
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!
O! You better watch out!
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
